Getting Started

• Each XP.GG account can only enter one season of Cutthroat Chaos.
• Your Epic Games account will be locked to your XP.GG profile upon starting your first mission.
• If an account issue occurs, only admins can intervene once your first mission has started.

Core Game Loop

1. Select a Goal - Choose from a random set of challenge options.
2. Boost the Stakes - Increase difficulty for better rewards (costs Emeralds).
3. Select a Reward - Pick from three options (gain Leaderboard Points (LP), steal LP, or gain buffs).
4. Start the Mission - Complete the challenge within the given timeframe.
5. Redeem Rewards - Earn Leaderboard Points (LP) or activate special effects.

Key Game Mechanics

• Goals are randomized challenges (e.g., "Get 10 Kills," "Win a match").
• Higher difficulty goals give better rewards.
• Players can reroll goals up to 11 times (costs Emeralds, increasing with each reroll).
• Some meta-goals exist within Cutthroat Chaos, requiring specific actions in-game (e.g., "Complete 3 missions").

• Boosting increases the challenge difficulty but improves reward rarity.
• There are two levels of boosting, costing 50 or 100 Emeralds.
• Boosting always increases expected rewards, ensuring better LP gains.

• Players select a reward after choosing a goal.
• Rewards come in different categories:
  • Gain LP - Boosts your leaderboard score.
  • Sabotage (Steal/Reduce LP) - Targets other players to lower their score.
  • Buffs - Grants protective shields, extra LP gain, or reroll bonuses.
• Rewards have rarities: Common → Uncommon → Rare → Epic → Legendary.
• Some rewards are only available to lower-ranked players (Catch-Up Mechanics).

• Leaderboard Points (LP) determine your ranking.
• LP is gained through missions but can be stolen or reduced by other players.
• "Blue-Shell" Balancing Mechanic: Players in the lower 50% get a 20% LP gain boost and 20% LP damage reduction.
